Glorifying Christ One Blog at a Time

Have you ever felt like a sputtering motor? Fighting to get the engine going or struggling to prevent the last shudder before it cuts off.
The growing anticipation in the moment of excitement when you think it is going to turn over this time or the moment of anxiety you feel when you believe it is about to cut off for the last time.

Our walk with Christ at times can feel this way, especially in a time of seasonal hardship. It's amazing how seemingly identical circumstances, situations, & emotions can be the result of completely opposite igniters.
In these moments do we doubt? Do we give up? God tells us that those who waiver in their faith are driven and tossed by the storms of life.
Yet, by His grace, on the other side of that doubt, frustration, or feeling of throwing in the towel is the very lesson He wanted us to learn, the very next step in our growth in Him.

Are you breathing the first breath of your recovery or the last breath or your relinquishment? Embrace every moment of these times, every whisper from the Lord compelling you to hold on and every loud cry from Him calling you to obey despite the appearance of your circumstance.

In ALL things give Him praise. In every season. Remembering that God says that " all things work together for good for those who love Him".

Angie, great reminder to be content in every situation. Keep up the good work. =)

My favorite line is: "Are you breathing the first breath or you recovery, or the the last breath of your relinquishment?"

Can I suggest a title for you? How about: Content In All Things, or just Content?
