Update from Guideposts

Received an email from a Copy Chief at Guideposts about the story they were interested in "Angel in a Car Wreck". Although they are/were interested in the story, they said they are putting it in archives for now as they are not looking for any new stories at this point. They also wanted pics of the car accident, unfortunately I haven't been able to find them as this was 9 years ago.

Don't know what to make of this. Another person from Guideposts emailed me and said basically they like the story, want to cut it down significantly, sit on it & eventually publish it in their kids edition. They made no commitment about a date though. Wanted my permission, so I gave it to them...

It is a wondeful story and like Yvonne said, you can submit it somewhere else. I believe it will get published when the time is right.

Well, there is still hope for the future, and I do pray that you will seek the Lord about the pics to send in to them. I am sure if they saw the pictures as well, it might press them more to get it published. Don't get too discouraged, because you can still submit it to someone else because it hasn't been published yet, and you still retain the rights to it. =)
